Hey there! I am Jillayne Helmholdt, also known as GRBEAUTYGAME! Cheesy, I know but beauty IS my game, my trade, my passion. I am a licensed esthetician, makeup artist, and certified microblading technician. I am proud to serve the Holland, Grand Rapids, and West Michigan areas.
Even as a young girl, makeup and beauty was my jam. After attending Douglas J Aveda Institute and Davenport University, I started out my career as a professional makeup artist and skin care consultant for a local salon. That led me to launch my own freelance makeup artist business serving West Michigan brides, families and businesses. It gave me so much joy creating individualized beauty for my clients and helping them to look and feel their best for their big day.
After time, I found myself gravitating towards a more holistic approach to beauty. I desired to help my clients with so much more than makeup. Becoming a licensed esthetician through the State of Michigan afforded me the opportunity to expand into services such as microblading, waxing, lash lifts and tints, brow shaping, brazilians and more!
My vision for beauty as a whole didn’t end with just me! My husband and I recently opened 4 brand new salon suites inside The Beauty Place, located in Jenison, MI. The Beauty Place salon suite businesses will offer a variety of cosmetology, and esthetics services, and is continually expanding its service options. Now clients can pamper themselves full circle. You will find me and my services just inside The Beauty Place entrance, in Studio 1, first door on the left!
